Twelve Weeks of Deliberate Structure

I

Weeks 1–3

The Foundation

Standing · Breathing · Centreline

The body is prepared before the art begins. Ring 0 Awakening, Wu Chi standing, YGKYM stance, pore breathing, centreline plumb-line. The Stone Forge begins in Week 1.

II

Weeks 4–6

The Form Begins

SNT Sets 1–3 · First Lat Sao · BUDS 1–3

Siu Nim Tau Sets 1–3. The first Lat Sao sequences (Wedge Punch, Pressure Sets). BUDS Scenarios 1–3 (frontal choke, side choke, rear choke). The Stone Forge develops from chain punching to palm strike.

Weeks 7–9

Contact and Sensitivity

SNT Sets 4–6 · Chi Sao Begins · BUDS 4–6

SNT Sets 4–6. Chi Sao Section 1 introduced — single-arm, structured feeding. BUDS Scenarios 4–6. Pore breath added to Egg Head set. Stone Forge: Fak Sau added.

IV

Weeks 10–12

Integration

SNT Complete · Chi Sao Benchmark · BUDS 7–9

SNT Sets 7–8 (complete form). Chi Sao Section 1 benchmark — respond on first move. BUDS Scenarios 7–9. Stone Forge: all three strikes in flow. Final session: form performed on boards, eyes closed. No test. No ceremony. You know where you are.

The Path Forward

What Comes After

Completing 12-Week Foundations means you have the structural vocabulary to continue. The Nine Rings curriculum — 72 methods across 9 thematic rings — extends across 12 colour levels, from Obsidian through to Clear. The art does not peak at a point and repeat. It deepens.

Students who complete Foundations are invited to continue into the full programme. There are no public grading ceremonies. Progress is marked privately, by internal benchmarks, between you and the practice.
